Students and teachers fight for the loose basketball during the game of donkey basketball. Students from Galt High School FAA, Chapter 009, had a fundraising event of donkey basketball, Tuesday March 25, 2003, at Galt High School. The event pitted the students against some of the school's teachers, riding donkeys while playing basketball in front of a large crowd. The top 12 sellers of the fund raising tickets to the event got to play against the most popular teachers as voted by the students. The event raised about $1200 that will be used by the FAA for future trips. you could not pass or shoot the ball unless you were on the donkey. The students won 20-18.
